Please tell me it's not silly that the gold one costs 4 times more than the classic sterling silver one Actually woke up this morning forcing him to bring it back for a refund. But afterwards I decided I love it too much to let it go! I'm a hypocrite
Mine, to him:
Had ourselves a simple dinner and dessert at Swensen's
Realization hit as the day actually felt indifferent (except for the lavish gifts to commemorate our first) hence we concluded
Feeling a little inspired and motivated with my pampering routine tonight:Step 1: Remove my make up, cleanse and dead skin cell removal.
Step 2: Take a long thorough shower with body scrub.
Step 3: Put on a fresh set of pajamas.
Cute, comfy satin short from La Senza!
Step 4: Bird nest's masque.
I swear by BeautyMate's sheet masque!
Step 5: Moisturising, antibacterial hand gel.
I opt between this and the age defying hand remedy.
Step 6: Quench my skin with body lotion.
Step 7: Lit my room with pomegranate fragrance oil.
Going all out with the pomegranate scent! My second favourite is Quiet Night from Body Shop.
Step 8: Laze on my pink lounge chair with Mr. Bunny, My Melody's pillow and fleece blanket.
Usually I'd be watching YouTube on my iPad while watching my drama series on my TV. I'm weird like that because I feel like there's a need to watch 2 things at the same time to maximize the time. But today I'm also editing these photos on my iPhone.
Had breakfast and got dropped off at work as usual. Followed by an inspiring 10am conference on Humanizing Digital Creativity. Back to my work desk for a bit and the receptionist came holding a bouquet of roses for me. She asked: "Is it your birthday today?"
They even had sushi's in the breakfast buffet! Yums!
Wanted to ride a bicycle on my own but I can't because it was too huge for me , so I ride behind the bike instead!
Just like that, he'll ride me to breakfast and back to the villa every morning. I miss Phuket already.
Swam a little, then had some coffee prior heading to town!
At a By-pass Seafood Restaurant, on the way to town! Yummaye. The lobster is sex!*
We thought Patong = Town, but no, the cabbie took us to the town town instead. *facepalm*
There wasn't really much to see. Just a regular shopping mall. So we chilled in Starbucks (what we do best!) instead and decided to head back to enjoy the Villa.
Brewed our own coffee, and enjoyed it with the jacuzzi (warm!) and the pool (uber cold!). The villa really makes you just want to stay in all day and chill.
Alighted in #Phuket International Airport and had to bum in Subway for coffee, because someone actually informed the resort 1 hour later than our supposedly arrival time. And by someone I mean
The but-heyyyy-I-thought-we're-supposed-to-add-1-more-hour-to-Phuket-time face
Driver picked us up, holding a signboard with our names! Wanted a picture of it but gave up at the thought of cats and dogs communication.
Like a boss!
On a totally random note, he smells so good like baby
*being courteous to insert breaks for pukes*
I don't remember seeing Geese in real life, so it's safe to say it's my first time seeing them wandering in lakes. Have you all seen how they dive? They flap their feet real fast like piak-piak-piak-piak-piak and dive.
Waiting for check in while they fed us with boring information.
And when we found out we can actually cycle around the resort!
Even their toilets are soooooo comfortable.
Our villa is still not ready hence we headed over to Swensen's @ Turtle Village for ice cream.
More time to bum. Explored the place and headed over to La Sala. One of the restaurants within the resort.
Appetizer before our meal:
The pink thing is damn yummy. But we never found out what it is.. Dug into the yummiest Pad Thai I've ever tasted in my life and forgotten to take a picture. We both agreed it's damn worth it although it cost $480Baht (~RM48)
Finally riding the Club Car to our villa, pretty long journey for walking distance.
And finally lo and behold, our villa!!!
The bed is soooooo comfy you can fall asleep within a snap of your fingers upon contact.
Right across from the bed is the private pool which you can jump into by sliding the door open. I mean either way, but you might have to pay for a broken door or a broken forehead for that matter.
Television set and iPhone/iPod dock w complete surround system around the villa!
Dressing area for him and her.
Then you can get to the pool from the other side of the room, with jacuzzi.
Awesome possssssuuuuum.
Sinks for him and her too! Soo thoughtful.
They probably think there will be couples who will be fighting over who wants to get ready first in the morning. Hahahahaha
Right next to the bed there's a reading nook.
View from the outside:
There's even a coffee machine if you wish to brew your own coffee:
A handwritten note delivered to our doorstep:
And our welcoming drinks, which Ronnie only found out much later when I was already asleep. And he had it all to himself..
Only had 30 minutes of nap prior leaving to the airport I seriously felt like I was gonna die from sleep deprivation. Konked the fuck out upon checked in, woke up freshen up and konked the fuck out again. But it's totally worth it.
